About me and my cakes

Dear cake lovers,

I started cake decorating as a hobby and was making them for family and friends, then through word of mouth I was asked to make cakes for a friend’s friend and so forth. Thus Abby’s Cakes was born. I also realised that not everyone was on Facebook or Instagram, so welcome to my cake site!

I am a pastry chef with over 20 years experience; cake decorating, which started as a hobby, became a passion. I developed my sugar craft and design skills by attending advanced courses and keeping up to date with fashion and trends in cake design. I am happy to incorporate customer’s ideas and interests into the finished products.
